Popular Science:
In the Popular Science gallery at NBSC, Siliguri, there are 36 exciting exhibits on various fields of science. Exploring Pin Screen, Hand brain co-ordination, Acrobatic Stick, Lazy Tube, Magic Mirror, Liquid Painting etc., just to name a few, stimulates inquisitive mind.

Earth Science:
The central hall of the centre has 22 exciting exhibits based on Earth Science. Here, one can experience Earthquake, view the Bathymetric Picture of our Earth and Earth’s Magnetic Field etc.

Nature Interpretation:
The gallery describes the flora & fauna of this region along with the life style of the ethnic communities of North Bengal. The most attractive feature of this gallery is a 'light & sound show' on the biodiversity of this region.

Popular Science
This gallery with an area of 250 Sq.meter, houses 36 interactive exhibits, which unfurls the underlying logic and principles of physical science as one tinkers with them and play with the options they offer for interaction. Here the visitor will catch science in live action and discover for themselves why things happen the way they do.

Digital Planetarium
The first of its kind in Eastern India, this low cost digital planetarium is all set to provide unforgettable learning experience for young and old alike. Measuring 8 metres in diameter, the dome has a seating capacity for 53 spectators. Since the system of operation is computerized, it is possible to create new astronomy programmes and show not only the night sky as seen from the earth, but also from points far distant in space and time. It can incorporate real images/videos of cosmic events in the planetarium programme, and can be used as well for immersive video shows on scientific and educational contents.
The new Planetarium show of 30 minutes duration will be held five times daily from 11:20 am onwards. The last show will be at 4:30 pm. Tickets for planetarium show for the general visitor’s will be Rs.10/- per head while for students coming in organized groups, the rate will be Rs.5/- per head.

Life Science Corner:
The life science corner at NBSC Siliguri has for the visiting public a turtle pool and aquariums with different type of aquatic animals. Here one can observe the activity of crabs, rare aquatic scorpions, fishes etc., which will surely make your visit to the centre a memorable one.

Science Park:
Say 'hallo' in the faintest of voices in front of a Parabolic Reflector and your friend will hear you, standing at a distance in front of another, just opposite to yours. This is one of the 45 exciting interactive exhibits in the Science Park at North Bengal Science Centre, Siliguri that introduces young and old to science education through fun. Throughout the year, the beautiful flowers, evergreen hedges, grassy lawn adds beauty to this outstanding science park.
