BIRLA INDUSTRIAL & TECHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM, a unit under National Council of Science Museums, the parent body of all the science Centres / Museums in India.
Facilities for School
- Entry fee Rs. 7/- per head for students coming from schools in groups
- Free entry for one Teacher per 20 students
- c) Entry fee to Coal Mine Rs. 4/- per head
- Entry fee to 3D show Rs. 10/-
- Guided tour of BITM galleries on prior request
- Science Demonstration Lecture - Lectures on different topics suitable for classes VI to XII are arranged, subject to prior intimation from schools. The topic of the lecture may be chosen from i) Atom ii) Magnetism iii) Properties of Air iv) Properties of Liquids v) Chemical Reactions vi) Acid, Base And Salts vii) Principles of Electric Generator viii) Electro Magnetic Induction.
- Entry fee waived on request for Physically and Mentally Challenged Students
Schools can take Institutional Membership of BITM thereby becoming eligible to send as many students as they can in a year at different times and on different occasions by paying a one time consolidated fee of Rs. 3000/- annually.
